WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE: Most Construction Worksites / Drilling / Oil Field / Corrections / Lifeguards / Police / RCMP / Canada Border Guards / Security Guards / Camp Councillors / Health and Safety Supervisors

All Intermediate First Aid courses in 2026 will be a “Blended” Version until further notice (unless otherwise noted).  This means there will be a online-prestudy component for the participant.  It will take several hours to complete the online portion (approximately 4-6 hours for most participants).    We require the participant’s full name and email address to send the home study package to.  This will come directly from the Canadian Red Cross via email.  This is NOT a zoom or virtual classroom, but a home study guide which is self paced, and can be done on a computer, tablet or other electronic device with internet capabilities PRIOR to the course start date.

The online portion must be completed prior to the practical skills / demonstrations.  If you wish to attend one of these programs, please select the date you would like to attend the in-class seminar, make payment for the program, and we will email you the online course to complete PRIOR to attending the in-class seminar.  If the online course is not completed prior to the in-class seminar, admittance will be denied and you will need to make payment for a future date.

Please note; late attendees may be turned away and would need to pay a rebooking fee.  We require participants to arrive 15 minutes prior to course start time. There will also be a non refundable $30 charge for all blended courses that are cancelled.

FULL COURSE FEE: $130 online discount rate ($140 in person)
RUNNING TIME: 8:30am – 4:30pm
ARRIVAL: 8:00-8:20am
Coffee and a few snacks will be provided.  Please bring in your own travel mug with lid.

Due to the limited number of seats available, we’re enforcing a 48 hour cancellation policy prior to course start time, with no refunds or rescheduling options. So please ensure when you sign up for a course, you can indeed attend that date.

CANADIAN RED CROSS CERTIFICATION – VALID FOR 3 YEARS.
Please Note:  There has been an update to the name of this course to match CSA Standards across Canada as of June 2026.  This course was formerly known as “Standard First Aid” and has been replaced with the terminology of “Intermediate First Aid”.  The course will include CPR level “C” & AED Certification to meet your workplace requirements.
