Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR

Course Description

PLEASE NOTE:  We can offer this program to private groups, however, our public training courses will be the regular “Emergency First Aid” program as opposed to “Emergency Childcare”.   The provincial regulations at this level require a basic first aid program for the childcare industry.  The “Emergency First Aid” Certificate will cover all necessary components required, but in addition will be valid at both childcare and non childcare industries (retail, office settings, light duty work, etc), so it is generally a better option for most individuals.
Of course, you can ask the instructor specific questions regarding children and the childcare manual can be emailed if requested.

Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills with a focus on childhood injuries and illnesses. Course is designed for those in the early childhood education industry as well as for parents/caregivers. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
